I wrote my first ABAP program in 1994 – and it worked (mostly). Since then, I’ve spent more than 30 years navigating the wild and wonderful world of SAP: from mainframe terminals to S/4HANA, from RFCs to REST APIs, from on-premise dinosaurs to cloud-native ecosystems.
I’ve worn quite a few hats along the way:
– Developer and integration expert
– Technical project lead and architect
– CTO and entrepreneur
– Consultant, freelancer, and advisor
– Inbound & outbound productmanager
– And today: Freelance SAP Specialist, where I focus on building seamless integrations between SAP and a lot of other systems – connecting the dots between enterprise IT and business operations.
My superpower? Translating complexity into clarity – and ensuring that technology actually works for the business (not the other way around).
I believe in:
– Solutions that don’t just look good in PowerPoint, but actually run in production
– Architecture that’s invisible because it’s rock-solid
– No-nonsense collaboration between tech and business
– That curiosity beats comfort – even after 30+ years in the field
– And that great results come from great teams – I truly value working in an environment where people share a commitment to quality, ownership, and delivering real value
Whether you need strategic input, deep technical insight, or just someone who still knows what an IDoc is – I’m always open to a good conversation (bonus points if there’s coffee involved ☕).
